    Dams and Energy

    SS_02

It is a device about dams and hydroelectric energy. When the turbine turns, the street lamps on the model light up. The process of electricity generation in dams is understood. When the dam lid is slid up, the leds in a row light up and the turbine rotates. When the lid is pulled down, the leds turn off and the turbine stops moving. If the dam lid stays up for more than 1 minute, the led light and turbine movement will stop and will be activated when the lid is moved again.

    Drinking Water Treatment Plant

    SS_07

It is a setup where the treatment steps in a water treatment plant are learned through physical activities. On the wall, there are graphics showing the sequential stages in the treatment plant. Among these stages, the rapid mixing unit and the main tank-water pump are interactive as physical activity experiences.

    Electricity from Mud

    SS_03

Electricity generation from mud is explored through the model and the slide on the table. The slider on the table is moved to the right side to start the combustion process. When the slider is moved to the far right, the leds in the combustion unit light up. After 3 seconds, the leds inside the house light up. It is discovered that electricity is generated from the combustion unit.

    Microplastics

    SS_08

Visitors place plexi pieces containing microplastic sources and microplastic sample images on the illuminated table. With the effect of light, the faded graphic images become visible and are examined by the visitor. Sources that cause microplastic formation are learned.

    Saving City

    SS_12

It is a water cycle installation in the city with a focus on conservation and innovation, including the treatment and reuse of rainwater, graywater and wastewater on a city scale. When the installation is not in use, the circles will stop on the empty path at the bottom, and visitors will use the clues on the graphic to move the circles to their right places. The circles need to be anchored in the spots where they are supposed to sit and can be moved on the hollow when desired.

SCADA: Manage Water in the City

    SS_09

It is a setup where 360° water management is simulated in the city with SCADA and the visitor will be in the role of the operator. Water management is realized in the simulated city by performing different tasks in three categories as Drinking Water, Waste Water and Pressure Management. Physical tools such as valves, buttons, etc. will be used for the tasks, and warnings and solutions are monitored on the screen.

    Smart Irrigation in Agriculture

    SS_11

Visitors follow the instructions on the screen and perform water management in the field. For example, in irrigation with drones, after marking the areas to be irrigated on the screen, the drone model on the wall moves on the track to scan the area. Relationships are established between the physical environment and the digital environment. The required amount of irrigation is applied to the areas indicated on the screen. Plant sensors, smart irrigation system, weather station and drone data are used. The drone will be moving and other products will be included in the physical display with led lights.

    Waste Water Treatment Plant

    SS_01

The focus is on the journey of the wastewater coming out of the house. The physical and chemical treatment steps that take place in the wastewater treatment plant are learned by experimenting.

    Water Cycle at Home

    SS_05

It is a device that invites you to rethink the water cycle at home through the concepts of blue water, gray water and waste water. The usage areas of mains and rainwater at home are learned interactively through pipes. When the correct matches are made with the pipes, led lights light up at the connection points.

    Water Cycle in Nature

    SS_04

Graphics on the wall show the steps of the water cycle, groundwater and surface water sources. Visitors are introduced to the basic concepts on which the water cycle is based. When the clouds in the reservoir are placed on the cloud pictures indicated on the left side of the graphic, rain is visualized with led lights.

    Water Footprint

    SS_10

It is a device to learn the amount of water required for the production of different foods and clothes. As the barcodes on the device panel are scanned, the water credit on the screen decreases according to the product. If the credit is insufficient, the amount of water required for the product is also indicated and the warning that the balance is insufficient is displayed on the screen. The button on the table allows visitors to try again by resetting the credit amount.
