    Aerodynamics and Design

    O_01

It shows the effect of vehicles in different forms on the road. As the form of the vehicle gets longer and higher, it is affected differently, slowing down or speeding up. Observe how vehicle design changes the concept of aerodynamics. Examines the effect of wind on vehicles during travel.

    Air Cannon

    TB_19

When fog is filled into the Air Ball and the
diaphragm at the back of the device is pulled and released, some of the rapidly moving air
slows down by hitting the edges, while the air in the center continues its fast movement
. When the air in the center moves forward rapidly, it pulls the remaining
and slowed down air into itself and creates a vortex
rotating around itself. With the vortex effect, you can hit targets in front of the Air Cannon
    , create smoke rings and
extinguish a candle about 5 meters away.

    Air Pollution

    IC_10

It is a device in which air pollution is shown as animation according to years. The arm moved from the rail on the table moves back and forth between 1900 and 2100. When we bring the lever to the time we want to see, the air pollution animation of that day plays on the screen on the wall.

    Air Pressure

    U_05

The Bernoulli effect can also be seen in everyday life. For example, when air is blown between two light objects, the air flow accelerates between them, creating low pressure. The objects are therefore drawn towards each other, i.e. the Bernoulli effect brings them closer. The visitor learns about this effect through the experiment tables.

    Ali Baba’s Farm Story House

    MM_01

In the setup, the Ali Baba model tells fairy tales to the visitors at 10 minute intervals. Visitors can sit on cushions on the floor and listen to the stories.

    Anaphormic Mirror

    TB_01

Anamorphosis is the ability to perceive drawings, photographs, paintings or
objects that do not appear to have a specific shape
only by looking at them from a special point of view or with a mirror. When the cylindrical mirror is placed in the center of the table containing the anamorphic picture
    , the image
is collected on the cylindrical mirror as a result of the reflection of light. The scattered image, which is not
understood on the table, is clearly
    seen on the mirror. This
system consisting of a cylindrical mirror and an anamorphic image is called an anamorphic mirror.

    Animal Sounds

    MM_11

It is a device where visitors get information about animals, another part of the ecosystem. There are 10 buttons with animal figures on the table. Whichever button the visitor touches, the sound of that animal
    is heard simultaneously.

  • MM_07

    Animals

    MM_07

The visitor learns by seeing models of animals living in different ecosystems. The reason why the bird speaks is that some bird species can live in the air, on land and in the sea. The visitor learns this information from the trainer.

    Archimedes Helix

    TB_02

Archimedes’ Archimedes Auger, one of Archimedes’ important inventions, has been used in many fields such as mining, shipping and agriculture for centuries and is still used today. Archimedes’ auger is a device for extracting water from a low place to a high place and is known to have been used to empty ship holds in the past. In this device, balls are transferred from bottom to top with a 3 cm diameter auger.

    Auger Corkscrew

    TB_03

The Auger Turbine has been used in many
fields such as mining, shipping and agriculture for centuries and is still in use today. The Auger
    Turbine is a
device for extracting water from a low place to a high place and is known to have been used in the past
to empty ship holds. In this device, the water in the pool is transported to the upper reservoir by
    Auger Turbine.

  • MM_05

    Balance

    MM_05

Visitors develop their motor skills by trying to balance on the balance board and cross over the board.

  • MM_16

    Ball Pool

    MM_16

Visitors enter the ball pool and try to find one of the animal bracelets
among the balls. They can take it and keep it as a souvenir

  • O_03

    Battery

    O_03

Visitors examine different types of batteries and get detailed information. They examine which batteries are rechargeable and which battery is more efficient. They examine the distance the efficient one will travel.

  • T_03

    Big Data

    T_03

Visitors select topics such as health, environment, education, employment, etc. and the information they can view on a city basis. Then, they will be able to view the appropriate cities in cities A, B, C, D and find their ideal living spaces. In this unit, which includes a digital game, how big data is processed and transformed into functional information will be explained to visitors with examples.

  • U_06

    Binary Gravity Well

    U_06

When visitors arrive at this station, they will pick up balls of various colors from the hopper and drop them from a point on the platform in a circular motion around the hole. Due to the curvilinear structure of the setup, the balls will move in a circular motion around the holes and get closer to the hole with each revolution. As the balls get closer to the hole, they will accelerate more and fall inwards under the effect of gravity.

  • E_02

    Biofuels

    E_02

Visitors can see through a screen with videos showing how biofuels are produced by matching the surrounding signs with the rotating disk. When the disk is rotated, the top image is illuminated, triggering a video animation loop that runs on the monitor. Visitors learn what kind of fuels are made from selected biomass sources.
