Lightning Machine

The High Voltage Climbing Arc is a familiar piece of equipment for all science fiction fans and the standard laboratory device for all mad scientists. A small spark starts at the bottom of a pair of “V” shaped electrodes, moves upwards and grows as the gap between the electrodes widens. At the top of the electrodes the spark exits and the cycle repeats.
